Al's Formal Wear operates over 100 specialty stores and has been in business for over 50 years. Our mission is to meet and exceed our customer's expectations by delivering superior service and exceptional value through fashionable, quality merchandise and motivated, friendly employees who perform with pride and dedication. Your satisfaction is our primary concern.

We personally inspect each item prior to shipping. We want to know if you have a concern about your purchase from Al's Formal Wear. Should you wish to return an unused item, for any reason, you may do so within 14 days of your delivery, for an exchange or full merchandise refund.

Sales Tax

Sales tax of 8.25% is charged for orders shipped to Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.

All orders for store pickup are subject to sales tax.


Orders will only be shipped to addresses within the United States.

Orders for in-stock items will ship within two (2) business days. Orders placed after 4:00pm Central time may not be processed until the next business day.

All orders will be shipped via UPS unless FedEx is requested. UPS or FedEx tracking numbers will be e-mailed to you so you can check your shipment status at or

For UPS Ground delivery, you can get an estimate of delivery time by visiting the UPS Time-in-Transit map and entering origin zip code 77030.

COD Secured means cash or money order only, paid to the delivery company at the time of delivery. COD shipments will incur an additional $9 charge to cover UPS fees.

Rates for ground shipping are figured from this table, based on the overall cost of the order (not counting deposits for out-of-town guest measurements). Overnight and second-day shipping will incur an extra charge.

Special Orders

Special Orders are subject to a 15% additional handling fee.

Please allow an additional 2-3 weeks for special order items. Items that require longer delays will include that information in their description.

Returns and Refunds

Items must be returned within 14 days of delivery, and may not be returned if they have been worn or used. All tags must remain on the items to be returned.

How to Return an Item:

  2. Please place the sales ticket inside the original box with the items to be returned. Repackage the items and ship the box to:

  3. We will e-mail you when the package has arrived, and immediately process a request to credit your card or send you another item, at your request. If you are returning your merchandise for credit due, we will issue you the full credit due back to you according to the original form of payment. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card statement. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and we are unable to accept COD packages.

For your protection, our web site uses 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) data encryption, which will automatically initiate a secure session with your browser before any order or personal information is sent over the Internet. This ensures that your credit card information travels across the Internet securely.

Al's Formal Wear respects your privacy and therefore will never sell or otherwise distribute any personal information that you have necessarily provided.

For your protection, credit card orders will not be shipped to an address other than the billing address for the card.
